Manchester City persists with a deadline agreement for the midfielder of 60 million euros

Manchester City hopes to be the great story on the day of the deadline for transfer, with only remaining hours to complete a great movement for Porto midfielder, Nico González. After reinforcing his defense with Vitor Reis and Abdukodir Khusanov, and strengthen the attack with Omar Marmous, Nico is seen as a versatile option in the midfield.

González fought for continuity under Xavi Hernández after breaking into the Barcelona team, before moving on loan to Valencia. Then he would be sold to Porto for € 8.44m, but Blaugrana has retained a 40%sales rate option. It is not clear if that would be 40% of the profits of a sale or the entire rate.

According to reports, City has rejected an offer of 50 million euros for Nico, since they seek to negotiate their price. Until now, Porto has been firm in receiving its release clause of 60 million euros, which would mean that Barcelona would receive somewhere between € 20.8my € 24 million. TBr football says that González has made Porto clear that he would like him to move, but time is marking.

According to reports, Pep Guardiola had tried to convince Sergio Busquets to join City for the second half of the season after Rodri Hernández’s loss, but in Nico he would have an educated midfielder to La Masia, capable of a function from cash to box, or a deeper -Le -lying, receiving the defense ball.

This season, the 23 -year -old has made 29 appearances, scoring 7 times and giving 6 assists in Portugal, evidence that he has enjoyed a little more attacker. It is the majority in terms of creation for Porto, and only Galen and Samu Aghehowa have made more contributions of objectives than their 13.

If Barcelona had received money from an agreement before, they could have decided to go to a striker, cited as their main objective for the January transfer window. However, with Marcus Rashford now outside the table, that seems unlikely.
