Barcelona to lose 19-year-old La Masia talent after contract talks fail

Barcelona will say goodbye to goalkeeper Aron Yaakobishvili, according to the latest news from the Catalan capital. The youth product of La Masia has not reached a new agreement with the club.

Yaakobishvili, who joined the club at the age of 15, was considered one of the most talented goalkeeping options and began this season as the UEFA Youth League under-19 number one. However, Yaakobishvili was benched by the club as contract negotiations stalled, and with his deal finalized next summer, Relevo says he will leave the club. This will take place in January or summer, but will probably mean moving abroad. Yaakobishvili stood out for his agility and ability to start from behind.

It means the Blaugrana will move forward with highly rated USMNT goalkeeper Diego Kochen and Ander Astralaga, who will be their third choice for the senior team and their first choice for Barça Atletic.
