Real Madrid face mounting pressure to keep up with Barcelona, who extended their lead with a 5-1 victory over Mallorca. Despite battling back to equalize against Athletic Club at San Mames, Carlo Ancelotti’s side now finds themselves trailing once more.

Alex Berenguer opened the scoring for Athletic early in the second half. While Kylian Mbappé missed a penalty, Jude Bellingham continued his red-hot form, scoring in his fourth consecutive La Liga match to bring Madrid level.
