Valencia have fallen to last place in La Liga after a 1-0 defeat against Real Valladolid.
Los Che find themselves in serious trouble as the campaign approaches the halfway point with just one league win in their last nine games.
However, the defeat against another team fighting against relegation is a hard blow, as they exchange places with Valladolid and occupy the last place in the league standings.
Both teams had only won two league games before their decisive clash, but the hosts took the initiative.
A defensive error gave Anuar Tuhami the chance to clear the score and the Moroccan international finally kept his cool to score in the 20th minute.

Valencia’s second-half comeback never materialized as Valladolid held them off with ease, despite a controversial late red card to Juanmi Latasa.
Los Che now have two vital league games to close out 2024 and Valladolid will finish the year in Girona on December 20.
