The NFL confirms the first team that will participate in the Santiago Bernabéu game in Spain

The NFL has confirmed that the Miami Dolphins will be one of the teams that will play the first American football game in Spain. The match will take place at Real Madrid’s recently renovated Santiago Bernabéu.

Spain will be the sixth country to host an NFL game, and Brazil will participate in its international series this September. With a large Spanish-speaking fan base, the Dolphins were rumored to be one of the teams to be involved, and that has been confirmed. Diario AS reports that their work date for next year is November 16, although it has not yet been confirmed.

Miami has nine potential rivals next year, and one of the following will head to the Spanish capital: New England Patriots, Buffalo Bills, New York Jets, Baltimore Ravens, Cincinnati Bengals, New Orleans Saints, Washington Commanders, Los Angeles Chargers and Tampa . Bay Buccaneers.

The game will be the first of many NFL games in Spain if all goes to plan, with plans for all 32 teams to eventually play one game abroad per season. Barcelona and Atlético Madrid are also expected to submit bids for matches at the renovated Camp Nou when it is completed, and at the Metropolitano.
