SA20 2025 squads: list of players and captains of the six teams

The third edition of SA20South Africa’s largest franchise cricket league, to begin on January 9, with defending champions Eastern Cape sunrise looking for his third consecutive title.

The Sunrisers will open their campaign against MY Cape Townpromising an electrifying start to the tournament. Over the next month, South Africa will host some of the biggest names in T20 cricket, culminating in the grand final on February 8.

A star-studded affair

SA20 2025 is set to feature global cricket icons including Liam Livingstone, Dinesh Karthik, Kane Williamson and Rashid Khan. The league’s unique structure, where all six teams face each other twice in the round-robin phase, ensures plenty of high-stakes action before the top four teams advance to the playoffs.
