Revealed: How much money does Barcelona need to get back within their salary limit and sign Dani Olmo?

Barcelona are once again looking to sign players, with Dani Olmo and Pau Víctor currently at risk. The Blaugrana now need to register them before December 31, or they risk losing them for the rest of the season.

On Tuesday it was revealed that the Blaugrana were exploring a court measure to ensure Olmo and Víctor remained registered. They would argue that anything else would be infringing on their right to work.

However, Barcelona are also studying other methods to increase their salary cap to have enough money to include Olmo. According to Sport, in addition to the new Nike sponsorship deal, Barcelona needs to raise €60 million to make its salary cap the same size as its wage bill.

Barcelona are considering selling the rights to their VIP seats at the Camp Nou for the next two decades, in a deal that could be worth between €100 million and €200 million. Their problem is that La Liga has been spreading the value of those agreements between contracts, so the agreement with Nike alone will be insufficient.
