Manchester City and Arsenal look to the Barcelona star in case of financial problems

Barcelona wanted to ensure that they will be able to register Dani Olmo and Pau Víctor before January 1, but that has not calmed the uncertainty about their future. If the Blaugrana cannot do this, they will not be able to play the second half of the season, since players cannot register twice.

In Olmo’s case, the issue is especially pertinent since there is a clause in his contract that will allow him to leave free if he is not registered. According to The Mirror, and backed by TNT Sports, Manchester City and Arsenal are monitoring the situation. The Catalan newspaper Sport refers to their information and says that they would consider moving for him if he were available.

Olmo and Barcelona are said to be calm about the situation, and it seems logical that any major club would be interested in the Euro 2024 winner if he were available for free. Barcelona have taken the matter to court this week and expect a response on Friday.
