The news that Barcelona was waiting for has finally arrived after days of waiting: they have been able to register Dani Olmo and Pau Víctor after their legal action was positive.
After La Liga and the Spanish Football Federation rejected its offer to re-register Olmo and Víctor last week, Barcelona requested approval from the Higher Sports Council (CSD) to grant a precautionary measure that would allow the two players will be available at the moment. On Wednesday, just an hour before the semi-final of the Spanish Super Cup against Athletic Club, he was granted it.

This means that both Olmo and Víctor will be available for Hansi Flick should Barcelona advance to this weekend’s Super Cup final, against Real Madrid or Mallorca. However, this decision came too late for either player to be involved against Athletic, dealing a blow to their chances of victory in Saudi Arabia.
