Carlo Ancelotti plans Return of key defensive lesions against Mancity

Real Madrid will once again fight with Manchester City at UEFA Champions League.

Carlo Ancelotti team has matched the Pep Guardiola positions for the fourth successive season as part of the last 16 playoffs.

Recent games among them have been Titanic battles, with the duo winning the last three finals, and dominating the competition.

Real Madrid has the advantage of the form, after ending the European hopes of the city in 2022 and 2024, on both sides of the city knocking Ancelotti and winning a first title in 2023.

A new meeting arrives at the new playoff stage with Ancelotti and Guardiola, both recovering from the bad phase campaigns of the League.

Before the fist leg in Manchester, Ancelotti is working on a new defensive plan, while preparing to unleash David praises at the Etihad stadium.

The Austrian has once again been in action at the beginning of 13 months, after surgery due to a LCA injury in December 2023, and its progress is strong.

Ancelotti and White’s medical staff trust their preparation and the plan is to start against the city according to Diario As.

The veteran defender has left the bank for cameos in recent weeks and will clarify it to Espanyol and Leganes in the next few days.

An appearance against Atlético de Madrid is not ruled out next weekend, but Ancelotti will make a late call, while seeking to protect it for the city.

In addition, there is the possibility of suspensions that force Ancelotti to start Alaba, with Antonio Rudiger and Aurelien Tchouameni, both warn to lose the second stage in Madrid.

Ancelotti wants praise to be ready to start both games, but it will only do so if a suspension is activated, with his vital experience for Real Madrid’s hopes to retain his titles of the League and Champions League in 2025.
