“Being a referee is a difficult profession”: the star of Barcelona reacts to the complaints of Real Madrid

Ronald Araujo had seemed to leave Barcelona in January, but instead, he chose to stay, and also sign a new contract. Since then, it has been regular in the initial alignment, although a reason for that has been Inigo Martínez’s injury.

On Tuesday, Araujo spoke at the Solidaris de los Relats event, and asked about several issues. First, he discussed his new contract, and also how he feels in the current dynamics, according to relief.

“I’ve always been very quiet, I’ve always been clear about it. I am happy with renewal. I have always shown how important it is to be here. I feel valued and important.

“I feel good. I am happy to play again with the team. We train it before playing again. We always see videos. It is a little risky style, but we believe in it and gives us results. I am getting more and more rhythms and I hope to continue helping the team. “

Araujo also thought of how the current game sees with Barcelona.

“The team is very good. We have a good team with young and talented people. We are excited. Now comes the best moment, but we are convinced and we believe in the team’s work. Now we have no margin of error and we are prepared for this. “

Araujo was also asked about the recent controversy with Real Madrid, who issued a complaint to the Spanish Football Federation about the referees after his defeat against Espanyol last weekend.

“Today they told me they would ask me about it, but I didn’t know. We cannot say everything we think. Being a referee is a difficult profession. We focus on what is ours and our goals. I will not go into these details because it is not my responsibility. “
