Barcelona wants to sign a new striker in the next one or two years, although doing so will be difficult, not only due to financial problems, but also due to competition. They recently lost their dream target, Erling Haaland (who has renewed with Manchester City until 2034), and Benjamin Sesko could join the Norwegian in the Premier League.

According to CaughtOffside, Barcelona are one of the clubs interested in Sesko, who is expected to leave RB Leipzig in the summer. However, the Slovenian sensation is reported to prefer a move to Arsenal at the moment, which is also bad news for the likes of Chelsea and Manchester United.
Sesko would be an excellent replacement for Robert Lewandowski, and should be relatively affordable now that Barcelona have returned to La Liga’s 1:1 rule (although fundraising would still need to be done). If he ends up going to Arsenal, it would undoubtedly be a hard blow for the Catalans, whose search for a striker is proving difficult.
