WATCH: Barcelona star speaks to Joan Laporta minutes after scathing comments

During the press conference this Tuesday, Raphinha admitted that he believes that Barcelona may find it difficult to attract signings due to the registration file of Dani Olmo and Pau Víctor, which is still ongoing. While these comments have generally been accepted as reality by many of the club’s supporters, they appear to have irritated Joan Laporta, who has faced heavy criticism over the matter.

One minute after Raphinha and Hansi Flick’s press conference concluded, Laporta was videotaped speaking to the Brazilian winger for about a minute, and a lot of gesticulation was used. Therefore, it was perceived that it was a “reprimand” by the president of Barcelona.

There is no doubt that the issue of registration has been very complicated for Barcelona at all levels. The club continues to trust in being able to count on Olmo and Víctor for the remainder of the season, although neither of them will be present in Saudi Arabia (unless a precautionary measure is secured before Sunday’s final, assuming that the Catalans defeat Athletic Club in Semifinal on Wednesday).
