The left-arm fast bowler, outclassed Yuzvendra Chahal to become India’s leading wicket-taker in T20 Internationals, achieving this milestone in his 61st match for India by taking his tally to 97 wickets. This achievement came during a crucial power play when Arshdeep dismissed Phil Salt with a strong bounce in the first over and followed up with the wicket of Ben Duckett in the third over, effectively setting England back early in the game.
With this performance, Arshdeep not only broke Chahal’s record of 96 wickets but also showed his form and potential, aiming to become one of the fastest to reach 100 T20I wickets globally.

Arshdeep jokingly apologizes to Yuzvendra Chahal
