The prestigious coach continues to sweat over the decision to sign for Barcelona

During the pre-season, Thiago Alcantara was briefly part of Hansi Flick’s coaching team. He left before the start of the season, but during his time at Can Barça he left an indelible mark.

Thiago retired as a player at the beginning of the summer, after the expiration of his contract with Liverpool. He intends to become a coach, which is why he ended up in Flick’s squad for a few weeks.

Although he has left, Thiago is still very interested in Barcelona. He was present for Saturday’s 2-1 home defeat to Atlético Madrid and in recent weeks it was assumed he would return to the club permanently from January. However, Relevo claims that this is no longer the case.

According to the report, Thiago has yet to decide his future and a final decision is currently being deliberated on. It means Barcelona are in limbo on the matter, although they should have their answer soon.
