The calendar includes the final test of the Border-Gavaskar Trophya bilateral series against England and the ICC Champions Trophy, before the start of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025.
Border-Gavaskar Trophy
The year kicks off with the final Test of the Border-Gavaskar Trophy against Australia from January 3 to 7 at the Sydney Cricket Ground (SCG). This match is crucial for India as it could significantly affect their chances of qualifying for the ICC World Test Championship final.

After their tour of Australia, India will host England in a bilateral series that will include T20Is and ODIs:
