Spain has lost little time to replace the outgoing members of their coaching staff, after exits for Pablo Amo, Carlos Rivera and Héctor Rincon. They have chosen to promote from inside instead of looking elsewhere to replace the top trio.
It was announced on Wednesday that I would leave to become a coach of Al-Arabi in Qatar, with a net offer of 6 million euros per season reported on the table. In addition, the Fitness coach of the first team, Carlos Rivera, and the youth team analyst Héctor Rincón would also follow his adventure in the Middle East.

The RFEF has announced that Juanjo González will replace Amo as a source assistant. It has been part of the federation configuration since 2013, with roles as an assistant manager, analyst and goalkeeper coach in youth categories with male and female football. Previously, González was an analyst under Luis Enrique and De la Fuente.
Another addition is Alberto de la Fuente, son of the current manager. From the Junior source, he joins as an analyst, after joining the RFEF configuration in 2022. After four years as part of the Huesca analysis team, Alberto de la Fuente has been part of the Santi Denia Sub-21 Training Corps, which was also in charge of his victory at the Olympic Games in Paris last summer.
From the Senior source it was positive about the Master’s movement, noting that he encouraged his colleague to assume the role. It remains to be seen how the helm will go without him, since he has been accredited with much of the tactical work that Brouch La Roja Success in the 2024 Eurocup and the League of Nations the previous year. Spain is for many of the favorites to win the 2026 World Cup, but now it will have to adapt without some of the brains behind its recent wins.
