Real Madrid coach Carlo Ancelotti has not yet called Vinicius Junior ahead of the ‘demanding’ Atalanta

Real Madrid manager Carlo Ancelotti has confirmed that Jude Bellingham is 100% fit to play against Atalanta in their crucial Champions League match against Atalanta on Tuesday night, but was less sure whether the duo Brazilian Vinicius Junior or Rodrygo Goes would go from the beginning. Los Blancos are in 24th place in the Champions League standings, with three games remaining.

In front of them is Atalanta in top form. While they were dispatched 2-0 by Los Blancos in the European Super Cup in August, Gian Piero Gasperini’s side are in impressive form and currently lead Serie A. They are fifth overall and are currently on a nine-game winning streak . Ancelotti made it clear that they faced a very complicated task.

“Very, very [demanding]. Atalanta is doing very well, they have improved a lot compared to the Super Cup. He is running and transmits enthusiasm. But it is an opportunity to score points and qualify.”

“It is a great team, a club that does a spectacular job… Despite losing many players every summer, as I said before. They always adapt. And that says a lot.”

Ancelotti and Atalanta coach Gasperini maintain a relationship.

“We are good friends. He was in the Juventus youth team when I was there. He’s doing a fantastic job. Many players change every season, but he knows how to adapt. [It will be an] An intense and beautiful game. His work is spectacular.”

The whites will be able to count on Jude Bellingham who has scored five goals in his last five League games, while Vinicius Junior and Rodrygo Goes also return to the squad.

“Vinicius is fine. Today’s training will be very important, like Rodrygo. Bellingham is fine, 100%. The only doubts are Vinicius and Rodrygo. After training we will decide,” he said.
