PSL Draft 2025: From David Warner to Kane Williamson – Complete list of players sold in all categories

The highly anticipated player draft for the tenth season of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) concluded in Lahore on Monday (January 13). The six franchises finalized their squads for the long-awaited tournament. A mix of international stars and emerging talents joined the teams in the draft, promising an exciting season ahead.

Big names like David Warner They were among the best options. Teams also used wild card entries to strengthen their lineups. The tournament will take place between April and May of this year and will feature competitive action. With the teams now complete, fans are eagerly awaiting PSL 2025.

Category breakdown at the end of the PSL 2025 draft

1. Platinum Category

• In Round 1, Lahore Qalandars selected Daryl Mitchellwhile Kings of Karachi chose Warner to strengthen its lineup. Quetta Gladiators opted for Mark Chapmanand Peshawar Zalmi said Tom Kohler-Cadmore. Sultans of Multan added Michael Bracewell to his team, and Islamabad United chose short matthew.
• Moving on to Round 2, Quetta Gladiators used their wild card pick to bring Faheem Ashrafwhile Karachi Kings added Adam Milne. Quetta further strengthened his batting with find allenand Karachi used another wild card to select Abbas Afridi.

2. Diamond Category

Karachi Kings started the Diamond category with the addition of Khushdil ShahPeshawar Zalmi selected Corbin Boschwhile Islamabad United opted for the experienced Jason Headline. Lahore Qalandars brought Kusal Pereraadding depth to his batting. Peshawar Zalmi completed the category with Mohamed Ali.

3. Gold Category

• In Round 1 of the Gold Category, Peshawar Zalmi used his wild card to select Abdul Samad. Multan Sultans recruited Mohamed Hasnainwhile Islamabad United chose Ben Dwarshuis. Kings of Karachi added Aamir Jamal to their lineup including Multan Sultans Kamran Ghulamand Peshawar Zalmi chose Nahid Rana.
• In the second round, Peshawar Zalmi strengthened their overall chances with Hussain Talat.

4. Silver Category

• Round 1 saw the drafting of Multan Sultans Akif Javedwhile Karachi Kings added Mir Hamza. Islamabad United selected Salman Irshad and Lahore Qalandars brought Asif Afridi. Quetta gladiators chosen Khurram Shahzadand Peshawar Zalmi got Ahmed Daniyal.
• In Round 2, Peshawar added Najibullah Zadran to his team, Quetta Gladiators chose Haseebullah Khanand Karachi Kings chose Litton Das. Islamabad United strengthened their bowling with Mohammad NawazLahore Qalandars chose Asif Aliand Multan Sultans used the Right to Match card to Tayyab Tahir.
• The third round included the drafting of Lahore Rishad HossainIslamabad adding andries gousand Fine selecting Gudakesh Movement. Quetta gladiators recruited Kyle Jamiesonadded Multan josh littleand Lahore finished their round with Muhammad Akhlaq.

5. Popup category

• In Round 1, Quetta Gladiators selected Hasan Nawazwhile Peshawar Zalmi chose Maaz Sadaqat. Selected Multan Sultans Shahid AzizIslamabad United brought Saad MasoodLahore Qalandars chose Momin Qamarand Karachi Kings added Riazullah.
• In Round 2, Karachi Kings chose Fawad AliLahore added. Mohamed Azaband Islamabad wrote Hunain Shah. The Multan sultans brought Ubaid Shahand Quetta completed the category with Mohammad Zeeshan.

6. Supplementary category

• The first round began with the selection of Islamabad United Riley Meredithfollowed by Multan Sultans selection Charles Johnson. Added Lahore Qalandars Tom CurranQuetta Gladiators chose Where in Mendiand Peshawar Zalmi strengthened his bowling with Jose Alzarri. Kings of Karachi brought Kane Williamson.
