La Liga removed a video from social media after it sparked an adverse reaction from Barcelona fans.
The video was a compilation of Vinicius Junior’s best moments from 2024 and was published on Twitter/X and YouTube. However, it was the cover of the video, which showed Vinicius celebrating a goal with several Barcelona players scattered on the ground around him.
433 published the main leaders of the European leagues with images of players representing the clubs first. For La Liga they used Mbappé as the cover and here is the response from the official Atlético de Madrid account. 😂 pic.twitter.com/jQpMlkmqJx

However, many Barcelona fans pointed out that the thumbnail was actually an edited image. The Real Madrid star had been edited into an image that was originally composed of Atlético Madrid’s winning goal over Barcelona in the 96th minute, replacing Alexander Sorloth.
La Liga uploads a compilation of the best of Vinicius in 2024 with an edited photo.
They have taken an image of Sorloth’s goal against Barça and edited it to put Vinicius. What a shame… they don’t even hide anymore.

This became evident after it was pointed out that the Barcelona players were in exactly the same position as in Sorloth’s photo: Vinicius has yet to score against the Blaugrana this season. According to RAC1, the video was removed shortly after it began to provoke a reaction from Culers.
Dani Olmo’s team remains calm regarding their situation. Barça is working on other options to achieve registration. @ElDesmarque
