Nazir reveals why he didn’t celebrate Rohit’s wicket

While most bowlers would have celebrated exuberantly after dismissing a player of Rohit’s caliber, Nazir decided to remain composed. Speaking to the media after Day 1, Nazir revealed that his decision not to celebrate Rohit’s wicket stemmed from his deep admiration for the Indian captain.

As a self-proclaimed fan of Rohit, Nazir felt it was important to show respect rather than rejoice after dismissing a player he idolized. He further expressed that securing a victory in the match would maintain great pride for him and his team, especially given the importance of facing and competing against the Indian captain on such a platform.
