Barcelona may have been unlucky to lose to Atlético Madrid on Sunday, but there is little argument that they are under pressure to turn things around. Not only did he leave them behind in La Liga, but he also added to a series of worrying statistics.
Before the game, many had pointed out that, despite the different narratives between their two seasons, Xavi Hernández and Hansi Flick had scored 38 points in their first 18 games; Xavi won his 19th. It is also the first time that Barcelona has lost three games in a row at home.

Flick has already lost League games (5) than Xavi did in all of last season, but the Blaugrana are on the worst streak in the entire division, with only one win and five points in their last seven games.
As MD pointed out, those losses are also costing Flick comparisons with coaches beyond Xavi. They say that Flick’s five defeats in 19 games represent a loss rate of 26.3%. He compares poorly with Xavi (15%), Ronald Koeman (21%) and Quique Setién (16%).
