Hansi Flick makes clear his opinion on Ronald Araujo amid transfer speculation

In recent days there has been a lot of speculation about Ronald Araujo’s future at Barcelona. He is said to be unhappy, to the point where he wants to leave now and, given his contract situation, that could also be best for the Catalan club.

However, even though Araujo wants to leave, his manager doesn’t want him to leave. According to MD, Hansi Flick made his opinion on the matter clear during his press conference on Saturday.

“I want Araujo on my team because he is one of the best defenders. He is a professional and has already recovered from his injury, so he can help us.”

Flick also sent a message to his Barcelona squad in the face of the growing noise surrounding the team, caused by several incidents, including the Araujo case.

“I have told the team: there is only outside noise, we have to be cohesive and strong. It is a great season, we have done well in general, although we have not reached the points we wanted. It is good to learn from all the games and that is the objective. We have to be focused. We played well for the club and we can do better. “It’s what we want.”
