Barcelona manager Hansi Flick has confirmed that Dani Olmo is ready to start against RCD Mallorca after missing the Las Palmas match due to an injury concern. However, Flick did not specify a return date for Ronald Araújo, who has resumed unrestricted training with the team.
“Ronald is doing really good and is very close, but I can’t say if it’s the next match or next week—he needs to feel fully ready. He’s at a good level and looks great. Dani is also back and available for the starting XI,” Flick stated.
Barcelona faces a challenging schedule with three consecutive away matches against Mallorca, Real Betis, and Borussia Dortmund. Flick acknowledged the need for potential squad rotation, as the team’s pressing intensity has dipped in recent weeks.
“Yesterday, I thought a lot about rotations—who needs a rest. But today, I see everyone is ready and eager to play, which is a great sign. It makes decisions easier or harder, depending on how you see it. With three tough away games ahead, we’ll need everyone at their best, and the data reflects that readiness,” Flick added.
