Belgrano is not getting back on track and coach Juan Cruz Real made six changes to the starting 11 that started against Paranaense, but the result of the game did not change. Suárez was the best, but the coach decided to change him at half-time.
Here is the Pirate’s 1 x 1.
ESPÍNOLA (4). A match full of doubts. A couple of crosses went wrong and in one of them Gimnasia, after a header from Castro, was centimetres away from scoring. It bounced off the front, making it difficult to clear.
MORENO (5). He managed to “fight” with Briasco throughout the match, he committed many fouls, but he was not outplayed.
RÉBOLA (5). Good in the air, especially in the opening half. When the team formed a line of four in the second half, he felt more comfortable.
Belgrano’s 1×1.
MERIANO (4). He was tight in marking Castillo and was doing his job in the duels, but he committed two serious fouls and affected the whole team after his expulsion.
COMPAGNUCCI (5). He was not precise in the first half and at times was not clear. His shot was the clearest of the first half for the B team. He improved as the match progressed and he made a lot of sacrifices in marking.
LONG (5). He cut and marked well in the first half. In the second half he retreated with the rest of the team and was in front of the line of defenders.
