Barcelona is not considering doing any business during the winter transfer market

Barcelona had an excellent start to the 2024-25 season, although it has fallen significantly in recent weeks. The upcoming winter break will allow Hansi Flick’s team to restart, and business could also be done during the transfer window, which opens in early January.

However, it is unlikely that he will be added to Flick’s roster. According to Alfred Martínez, the plan is for Barcelona not to do any business during the winter transfer market.

Signings would have been almost impossible anyway due to the club’s well-documented financial problems, and it is now believed that no one will leave. The likes of Eric Garcia and Pablo Torre have been linked as possible departures, although it makes sense for them to stay if there are no replacements lined up.

For now, Barcelona’s focus continues to be getting the registrations of Dani Olmo and Pau Víctor. Contract negotiations are also a priority, but the truth is that signings are not.
