Atlético de Madrid aimed at four summer signings

Atlético de Madrid has had a good season so far, and they look firmly in the fight in the League with Barcelona and Real Madrid. Club chiefs will be interested in ensuring that this continues for many years, and for this to happen, proper investment will be needed, just like last summer.

Atleti went big during the 2024 summer transfer window, since they brought characters such as Julian Álvarez, Conor Gallagher, Alexander Sorloth and Robin Le Normand. While it is unlikely that some money will come out in 2025, they are expected to be busy.

Alex Baena is a player at the top of the short list of the club, but according to Marca, it is not an essential requirement for the summer. Rather, the mattresses are preparing to go for four defensive mentality signings.

At the end of the season, Atleti is expected to separate with three defenders: the Axel Witsel and César Azpilicueta centrals, as well as the reboil of the left back. According to the report, the club seeks replacements for the three players.

In addition, Atleti is also looking for a new defensive midfielder. They failed to bring someone during the last days of the winter transfer window, but their interest has not decreased, so a new search will begin at the end of the season. In addition to this, they hope to get rid of Thomas Lemar, whose departure will release a significant amount of wages on the salary invoice.

It is a good time to partner with Atlético de Madrid, with officials and club followers equally with the hope that this season can be the first of many that are properly challenging for the title of the League again. For that to happen, Diego Simeone’s team must be effectively reinforced.
