Álvaro Morata will leave AC Milan six months after the arrival of Atlético de Madrid

Last summer, Álvaro Morata left Atlético de Madrid after guiding Spain to the success of the 2024 Eurocup.

Morata has had problems having a significant impact since he arrived at Rossoneri, after having scored six times in 26 appearances. Sergio Concicao, the new chief coach of Milan, does not have the Spanish, and because of this, it is almost certain that a game will take place before the winter transfer window is closed next week.

As a result, Morata will go to Türkiye. As reported by Marca, Milan is in advanced conversations with Galatasaray about an agreement, although it has not yet been determined at this stage if it will be a loan or a permanent exit.

Milan paid 13 million euros to sign Morata from Atleti last summer, but this has proven to be a bad investment. If it is a sale that is negotiated with Galatasaray, they will expect to recover as many as possible of this money.

Upon arriving in Istanbul, Morata will join with Victor Osimhen, who is borrowed in Galatasaray from Napoli. The couple is expected to be a strike association, since Turkish giants see the captain of Spain as a reference in their team.

The imminent movement of Morata to Galatasaray is good news for Spain, and in particular, the chief coach Luis de la Fuente. He will want his employer to play regular football in construction until the next World Cup in 2026, and it is more likely to happen outside Milan.

An agreement is expected to end in the next few days, before the winter transfer window that closes next Monday. Morata is preparing for this new adventure, and will wait for it to be established in Galatasaray, while it is also important.
