The third match of International T20 League (ILT20) 2025 between Gulf Giants and Sharjah Warriors saw an exciting batting display, with Shimron Hetmyer gaining great prominence. Shimron Hetmyer smashes a spectacular six
The highlight of the Giants’ innings came in the 17.3 over, when Harmeet bowled a fuller delivery to Hetmyer. The West Indies batsman was quick to crawl in and timed the ball perfectly, flicking it over mid-wicket for a huge six. The powerful knock left the spectators in awe as Hetmyer’s dominant knock showcased his clean batting ability and further boosted the Gulf Giants’ run rate. Hetmyer smashed two more boundaries to eventually amass 16 runs from the over.

Gulf Giants set challenging total
In a thrilling encounter, Gulf Giants posted a competitive total of 174/7 in their 20 overs against Sharjah Warriorz. The Giants’ innings were built around key contributions from Ahmed Rehan (46 off 27 balls), Jordan Cox (38 off 32 balls), and a fiery cameo from Hetmyer, who scored 36 off just 23 balls.
Tom Kohler-Cadmore leads Sharjah Warriorz to the finish line
In response, Sharjah Warriorz chased down the target of 175 with a thrilling finish, winning by 3 wickets. Tom Kohler-Cadmore was the star of the chase, remaining unbeaten on 83 off 56 balls, including 6 fours and 4 sixes. It was well supported by Rohan Mustafawho contributed a vital 45 off 33 balls. Their partnership led the Warriorz to a thrilling victory, securing them their first victory of the tournament.
