Valentino Rossi Crashes With Rosi and Jeopardizes Winning Chances

With four and a half hours left on the clock, two WRT BMWs were still in the fight for victory, but Valentino Rossi had just mortgaged his own chances for the overall victory. The Italian cut off Les Combes and when he re-entered the track, he crashed into the Kessel Racing Ferrari #8 of Nicole Rosi.

The heaviest blow, however, went to Romain Leroux, who in the Walkenhorst Aston Martin #36 could no longer go anywhere and crashed heavily into the tire wall. The Ferrari and BMW were able to continue, the BMW has already recovered and Maxime Martin is currently fourteenth in the #46.
