The Second Division coach faces a 12-match ban after headbutting the coach in a heated exchange

Spanish football is not usually free of controversy, and there was a great moment that took place immediately after Real Zaragoza’s 1-0 victory over Racing de Ferrol on Saturday, involving both managers.

It was an incredibly frustrating night for the visitors as they missed a penalty and Roberto Correa was sent off in the closing stages of the match. In the end, it was all too much for coach Cristóbal Parralo, and he took out his frustration on his rival David Navarro, whom he head-butted.

In the arbitration report, Parralo has been accused of “confronting a coach of the opposing team and headbutting him.” According to MD, this carries a suspension of 4 to 12 games, and the exact sanction will be transmitted in the coming weeks.

Spanish football never fails to entertain, although this incident probably should not be repeated in the future.
