The president of Barcelona could lead to Classic to 17,000 stadiums

Barcelona is still headaches about its stadium situation, with little clarity about when they will return to the renewed Camp Nou. Initially they had to return at the end of November, but that has been delayed several times. They believe they will return before the end of the season in May, but an exact date is difficult to specify.

The Blaugrana will initially return to a 60,000 squares Camp Nou as the work continues on the third level, and that is its preferred option to receive El Classic against Real Madrid in the second weekend of May. In case it is not ready on time, Barcelona is negotiating with the promoters of the Rolling Stones concerts that will be held in Montjuic to organize the great game in the company Estadi Olimpic Lluis. I would require the three -night race to be pushed back.

According to RAC1, President Joan Laporta does not want the game to leave Catalonia if none of those options emerges. It had been suggested that Barcelona was considering taking the game outside of Spain, to an exhibition place like Wembley, where they could obtain significant income, and still organize the game. However, Laporta is against that plan, since he is anxious for Barcelona fans attending the game.

While Real Madrid is currently 7 points on the Catalan side, there is the possibility that a title is at stake in the last weeks of the season. In that case, Laporta would be anxious to organize the game at the Johan Cruyff Stadi, located in her Ciutat Deportiva training field. The stadium, a purpose built for Atlético del Barça, Barça Vesta and the youth sides, has a capacity of only 6,000 fans, but with temporary supports, they believe it could reach 17,000 fans. It should be noted that this would be a third choice behind Montjuic and Camp Nou.
