Surprise Real Madrid player credited as glue in the locker room among stars

Real Madrid have seen a comeback in recent weeks, albeit amid some lingering doubts, and there are those who would say it is no coincidence that Brahim Díaz is playing more frequently. The former Manchester City and AC Milan player missed six weeks due to injury, but has already participated in 11 consecutive matches.

Brahim averages a goal every 163 minutes and has only one less than his rival Rodrygo Goes (5), but has played 699 fewer minutes. Relevo says that the Real Madrid dressing room considers him essential, and his creativity and intensity with and without the ball is crucial.

His value goes far beyond his contribution on the field of play. Los Blancos and Carlo Ancelotti highly appreciate his role in the locker room and consider him solid gold in terms of team chemistry. Brahim spends some of his free time with Jude Bellingham and invited Kylian Mbappé to dinner upon his arrival. He has also organized barbecues with Arda Güler, and has a deep connection with Fede Valverde. Beyond that, he has been seen many times joking with Vinicius Júnior, Rodrygo and now with Endrick Felipe.

Last season Ancelotti commented that the Real Madrid locker room was the healthiest he had coached and during his struggles he was asked if it was still that way. The Italian maintained that the atmosphere was healthy, but clearly with characters like Brahim it is important to keep it that way, who was injured at that time. The injury to Dani Carvajal and the retirement of Toni Kroos are also strongly felt.
