Reason why Pakistan has not announced its ODI team for Champions Trophy 2025

Tournament context

The ICC Champions Trophy 2025 will be held in Pakistan and the United Arab Emirates from February 19 to March 9 and will feature eight teams divided into two groups. Pakistan are ranked with India, Bangladesh and New Zealand in Group A. With their first match scheduled against New Zealand in Karachi, time is of the essence for the PCB to finalize their team.
