Jasprit Bumrah’s son’s touching message to his father
An Instagram story of Bumrah’s wife, Sanjana Ganesan is going viral on social media in which Bumrah’s son, Angad He holds two cricket balls. A message is also written in the name of Bumrah’s son which reads: “Proud of you dad, today and every day.”
Notably, the couple was blessed with a baby boy on September 4, 2023, when Bumrah was with the Indian team in Sri Lanka to play the Asia Cup. Bumrah had missed the match against Nepal back then to be with his wife. Since then, the couple had shared several moments of their son on social media. Bumrah’s performance shines amid disappointing result for Indian team
Although the Indian team failed to win the Boxing Day test match in Melbourne, Bumrah’s performance was one of the highlights of the match. Bumrah troubled the Australian batsmen amid a batting masterclass in the first innings, particularly from Steve Smith who scored 140 runs for the Australians. Bumrah took 4 crucial wickets for the team in Australia’s first innings. His performance in the Melbourne Test, however, peaked when the Australians batted again. Bumrah’s impeccable bowling proved to be a bone of contention for the Australians as he got rid of batsmen one after another and took a 5-wicket haul, ending with 9 windows in the Melbourne test.
