Liverpool rules out the option of using the midfielder in the agreement to sign the Real Madrid star

Aurelien Tchouameni has not had the easiest start to the season with Real Madrid, and his form has been questioned by fans and media alike. Despite this, he remains an integral part of Carlo Ancelotti’s squad, although that has not stopped speculation about his future from gaining strength.

Liverpool is the club that has been most linked with Tchouameni in recent months, as they consider him an ideal midfield signing. It remains to be seen if they target a transfer in 2025, although if they do it would not be a more effective player deal.

According to Florian Plettenburg, Liverpool have no intention of using Ryan Gravenberch in a swap for Tchouameni: the Dutch star, who has had a very strong start to the season, has been linked with Real Madrid in recent weeks.

Gravenberch is a player Real Madrid will appreciate, although there is no obvious need to sign him unless Tchouameni leaves, given that Eduardo Camavinga is also at the club.
