Barcelona defender Ronald Araujo could be about to play his last game for the club as a move to Juventus appears to be approaching. The Uruguayan defender has reportedly reached a personal agreement with the Bianconeri.
An exclusive report from Juve FC explains that Araujo has reached an agreement with Juventus, as they look to move forward with a deal. La Vecchia Signora still need to reach an agreement with Barcelona for Araujo, with a loan proposal until the end of the season followed by an obligation to buy. With alternative targets such as Benfica’s Antonio Silva and Feyenoord’s David Hancko looking unlikely for the winter transfer window, Juventus have redoubled their efforts to secure Araujo’s signature.

The Blaugrana have told Araujo that if they cannot agree on a new contract before the summer they will look to sell him, and as there is no progress on this, this appears to be progress in the process. Juventus’ biggest obstacle may not be price, but rather the Premier League: Araujo has expressed a preference for English football, while Arsenal and Manchester United are reportedly inquiring about his availability.
