The T20I series will begin on January 22, 2025 at Eden Gardens in Kolkata, followed by matches in Chennai, Rajkot, Pune and Mumbai. The complete schedule of the T20I series is as follows:
- 1st T20I: January 22, Eden Gardens, Kolkata
- 2nd T20I: January 25, MA Chidambaram Stadium, Chennai
- 3rd T20I: January 28, Niranjan Shah Stadium, Rajkot
- 4th T20I: January 31, MCA Stadium, Pune
- 5th T20I: February 2, Wankhede Stadium, Mumbai

After the T20I series, England will take part in a three-match ODI series starting February 6, which will serve as crucial preparation for the ICC Champions Trophy 2025 scheduled to be held in Pakistan.

With Buttler at the helm, the team aims to establish a balanced team capable of competing effectively on subcontinental courts.
