The third edition of SA20 started with the strong performance of MY Cape Townwho achieved a resounding 97-run victory over Eastern Cape sunrise in St. George’s Park. The first match of the tournament set the tone for an exciting season, with Delano Potgieter putting in an all-around performance worth mentioning.
MI Cape Town tickets: a high-energy exhibition
After winning the toss and opting to bowl first, Sunrisers Eastern Cape faced a solid batting effort from MI Cape Town. His spell devastated the Sunrisers lineup, leaving them all out for just 77 in 15 overs.. Delano Potgieter’s brilliance was the highlight of the match. His 25 quick runs at the death increased MI Cape Town’s total, and his devastating five-wicket haul sealed a resounding victory. Potgieter’s ability to respond under pressure made him the undisputed Player of the Match.
