Barcelona scrambleing for solutions to Dani Olmo registration

Barcelona will hold a member vote on their new Nike sponsorship deal on December 21, but the promised financial benefits have yet to materialize. The agreement was expected to ease player registrations, but the club is still unable to officially register Dani Olmo and Pau Victor for January.

Both players were initially registered using salary limit space allocated to Ronald Araujo and Andreas Christensen, under an emergency rule for long-term injuries. However, Barcelona must secure additional funds to accommodate Olmo and Victor in their salary cap when this temporary registration expires in January.

Despite ongoing challenges, Andreas Christensen remains focused on his recovery and has no plans to leave the club, per @tjuanmarti.

With the Nike deal falling short and no progress in selling unpaid shares of Barca Vision, Barcelona is searching for solutions. According to Catalunya Radio, the club explored a fresh emergency registration allowance due to Marc-Andre ter Stegen’s injury but cannot use this option again over a month after the injury.

Olmo appears unfazed by the situation, staying calm while his entourage expresses slight concern. Nevertheless, they are confident that Barcelona will find a way to register their marquee signing.
