On Monday night, Barcelona saw its two stars Lamine Yamal and Vicky López receive the Golden Boy and Golden Girl awards, but they also have their eyes on another award-winning young talent. AS Monaco midfielder Lamine Camara is being monitored.
Lamine: “Yesterday I suffered a knock. I can’t wait to get back to the team to help. It’s time to recover, but we’ll be back soon.”

The 20-year-old midfielder has been on his radar since his performances for Metz last season, but did not make a move for him last summer. Since joining Monaco for €15 million this year, his progress has continued, and Toni Juanmarti has noted that the Blaugrana have continued to monitor him since then.
Lamine Camara, from Monaco, best young African of the year. Barça watched him closely at Metz but did not take the step. He is kept under surveillance. The midfielder does not stop growing.

Camara already has 23 caps for Senegal and received the Young African Player of the Year award on Monday. He has made 18 appearances for Monaco this season, starting all of their Champions League games. Capable of playing as a versatile central midfielder, he has also played a deeper role, albeit as part of a pairing.
