Predicted contenders for Women’s Premier League winner
As teams prepare for WPL 2025, cricket pundits and pundits have started assessing who could emerge as the favourites. Former India international Veda Krishnamurthy has placed his bets Delhi Capitals (DC) win the tournament, citing the impressive form of their Indian players, both on the domestic and international circuit.

I think this year could be Delhi’s year, the way their Indian players are performing, especially after a good domestic and international performance.” Veda was quoted by Sportskeeda.
On the other hand, Parthiv Patelin the same programme, believes that RCB, After winning his first trophy in 2024, he could retain his title again, despite the challenge of winning back-to-back.
“It is extremely difficult to win the title two years in a row. However, early predictions will have to be made. I feel RCB will perform well this year and might win the tournament again this year.” Parthiv opined.
