Valencia reaches an agreement to incorporate a new right back from the Premier League

Valencia already signed Umar Sadiq this January to inspire their survival bid, but are also close to sealing a new right-back. An agreement for Max Aarons to arrive is almost closed.

Los Che had been waiting for a decision from Iván Fresneda and Sporting CP, with whom they have also reached an agreement, but it seems more likely that he will now head to Como. At the same time, Valencia has been working on a deal to bring in Max Bournemouth’s Aarons.

The 25-year-old Englishman will arrive on loan with an option to buy to Valencia in the summer, Relevo reports. That purchase option is the only detail to be finalized, but it will be around 6-8 million euros. Aarons will arrive over the weekend and could be available for selection on Monday.

After starting right-back Thierry Correia suffered a torn cruciate ligament, Los Che have been looking for an alternative to Dimitri Foulquier, and Fresneda seemed to be that other option. However, new coach Carlos Corberán is familiar with Aarons from his time in England and will offer a more attacking option.
