Real Madrid’s second star finished the Atalanta game with muscle discomfort

The only negative news to come out of the White House on Tuesday night was Kylian Mbappé’s injury, following Real Madrid’s 3-2 victory over Atalanta. However, concerns remain over Jude Bellingham’s health.

Mbappé came off after half an hour against Atalanta after feeling some discomfort in his hamstring, but the same thing had happened to Bellingham on the hour against Girona last Saturday. Bellingham, who fell after making a long pass and catching a Girona player, was replaced by Dani Ceballos due to muscle discomfort, but was given the go-ahead to play against Atalanta.

According to MD, this discomfort has not completely disappeared either. He was seen touching the back of his thigh on several occasions during the Atalanta game, and did so again when he was being taken off. Bellingham touched the same area that caused him pain in Montilivi and left the Champions League match exhausted.

Los Blancos’ resurgence is still a work in progress, but Bellingham has been the main reason it started. With 9 goal contributions in his last 7 games, dragging his team forward. Bellingham spoke to reporters after the game and didn’t mention any injuries, which is a positive sign.
