Amir highlights Jasprit Bumrah’s absence as a major concern for India
While acknowledging India’s success story in major tournaments, Amir noted that the Indian team is facing increasing pressure following recent setbacks. He highlighted concerns about the suitability of jasprit bumrahIndia’s star pacer, who is currently recovering from a back injury and is expected to miss the opening phase of CT 2025. Amir suggested that Bumrah’s absence could significantly weaken India’s bowling attack.
“It will be a big loss for India if Bumrah is not there. He has been one of India’s best players, leading the pack from the front. Without it, the Indian bowling attack is reduced to 40-50 per cent strength.” Amir added.
