Real Madrid have had problems in recent history against lower league opponents in the Copa del Rey, especially against Alcoyano. However, they show no signs of giving Deportiva Minera hope, and have been quick to take a commanding lead from the start.
The first goal came six minutes in from Fede Valverde, after continuing his streak of good goals by volleying past Fran Martínez to give Carlo Ancelotti’s team the lead.
Don’t mess with #Real Madrid here, they are two goals up in 13 minutes.
Fede Valverde first with this good volley, and Eduardo Camavinga headed home a good assist from Fran García to put Los Blancos in charge.

Six more minutes and Real Madrid had doubled their advantage, with the intervention of Eduardo Camavinga. After Fran García made a great effort to recover the ball high up the field, he made an excellent cross. Camavinga rose higher to convert.

So far, the whites have had fun against the fourth division team from Murcia. Carlo Ancelotti gave right-back Lorenzo Aguado and centre-back Diego Aguado their debuts, but neither has looked out of place so far.
