Sunday’s La Liga action saw four fantastic, goal-filled games capped off by a sensational comeback from Atlético Madrid.
The first matches were a double Basque delight, as Real Sociedad achieved victory in Leganés and Athletic Club beat Villarreal at home.
Drama was in the air in the evening’s clashes, as Osasuna faced Alavés in Pamplona, before Los Rojiblancos overcame a seven-goal encounter in the Spanish capital.

Leganes 0-3 Real Sociedad
La Real extended their winning streak to four games in all competitions with three goals and three points in Madrid.

Athletic Club 2-0 Villarreal
Athletic Club achieved five consecutive victories by beating Villarreal 2-0 in Bilbao.
Aitor Paredes He headed a corner in the first opportunity of the game for the locals at the San Mamés Stadium.
Villarreal then saw the instant tie annulled by the VAR with Julen Agirrezabala in inspired fashion for the hosts either side of the break.
Despite being in second place for some stretches of the second half, the home team took advantage of a key opportunity at the end, as Inaki Williams He ran clear and shot home.

Osasuna 2-2 Alavés
The goals rained down in a downpour in Pamplona and Osasuna achieved its third consecutive league draw.
Garcia Woman put the visitors ahead within the first 60 seconds before the veteran striker was denied a brilliant second by a narrow offside penalty.
Before Budimir They forced an equalizer just after the break and Rubén García’s free kick deflected to give Osasuna the lead.
But the last word belonged to García as he scored a late equalizer.

Atlético de Madrid 4-3 Sevilla
The last match of the night was spectacular in the capital, as Antoine Griezmann scored two goals to snatch victory from the home team.
Rodrigo De Paul’s long range effort got the game off to a good start and Dodi Lukebakio scored the equaliser.
The pace showed no signs of slowing before the break as Issac Romero broke through the Atlético Madrid defense to score.
The VAR denied Julián Álvarez a goal before the break and Juanlu Sánchez made it 3-2 in the 57th minute, when Sevilla seemed to be on their way to victory.
Griezmann got the local team back on track, just five minutes later, with an accurate shot and a rocket from Samuel Lino tied the game with 10 minutes remaining.
As the seconds ticked away, Griezmann stole the headlines in added time, to fire home and break Sevilla’s hearts.
