A few days ago, the Bengal women’s team chased a total of 390 runs made by Haryana in the Senior Women’s T20 Trophy 2024 in the Niranjan Shah Stadium, C ground in Rajkot. This was the most successful chase in domestic women’s cricket, surpassing the previous record set by Northern Districts against Canterbury in 2019, when they chased 309 in the New Zealand national tournament. The star of Bengal’s record chase was Tanushree Sarkar who scored an impeccable 113 off 83 balls to lead his team to a historic win.

1) Uttar Pradesh U-23 team beats all odds to make history:

The Uttar Pradesh U-23 team has recently written history by achieving the most successful run chase in domestic limited overs cricket. Star-studded by Sameer Rizvi’s unbeaten double century, the UP team chased down the mammoth 407-run target set by the home team. Continuing his impeccable domestic form, Rizvi became the first Indian batsman to score two double centuries in the U-23 Men’s A State Trophy. The young man had previously marked a 201 run knock of 97 deliveries against Tripura at the Kotambi B Ground earlier this week.
