18 months have passed since work on the new Spotify Camp Nou began and the process has not been easy for Barcelona. They were hoping to return home at the end of 2024 and unfortunately that turned out not to be the case.
Instead, the club hopes to return to the stadium in March, with February having recently been ruled out. There have not been many delays during the process, which perhaps suggests that the initial objectives set by Barcelona were somewhat ambitious.
However, things are going well and earlier this week, Sport released a video showing how the Spotify Camp Nou is currently doing, two months away from Barcelona’s expected return.

The entire Espai Barça project is not expected to be completed until 2026, but Barcelona are determined that the first team can play at the Spotify Camp Nou as soon as possible, given the financial implications this has. It remains to be seen if a return in March is possible.
